We do not need to look at research studies to notice the growing number of disengaged Catholics in our churches. Unfortunately, the statistics will only confirm this reality. The most disheartening fact that these studies reveal to us is that the majority of the disengaged are our young adults. The Church now faces a critical challenge as well as an opportunity. The challenge is that more of our young adult faithful are becoming faithless. The opportunity is that we, as ministry leaders, can still do something to re-engage the disengaged. Come and explore ways in which we can become more effective in our evangelization to our young people.
