Steve Do currently serves as the Associate Director for Youth and Young Adult Ministries in the Diocese of San Jose. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Religious Studies with a concentration in Catholic Studies at Santa Clara University. Steve has been involved in ministry to youth and young adults for over 13 years and currently shares his gifts as a speaker, trainer and retreat facilitator for churches and dioceses across the Bay Area. Steve is a proud husband and father of two children.
Like many "Cradle Catholics," Steve's faith was apathetic and obligatory as a teen and young adult...until one day God gave him an ultimatum. Read about Steve's conversion story here, and how he went from lurking in the back of the church to standing in front of the entire congregation passionately sharing his faith.
In 2000, Steve had another life-changing experience--his journey on El Camino de Santiago (The Walk to Santiago), a 70-mile pilgrimage from Sarria to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. That adventure is the basis of his ministry and message today, which he refers to as "Steps of Faith." Read about Steve's Santiago Walk experience here.
Steve has spoken at the church and diocesan level, for training and retreats, to various audiences from youth and young adults to teachers and ministry leaders. Read some of their testimonies here.
